 WELCOME TO MY WEB SITE!

       THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS I will do with this site. First, I will introduce my Father.  He was the ultimate, professional entertainer.  His career spanned the Louisiana Hayride, the Grand Ole Opry,  and his own live TV and radio shows.  In the twilight of his career, he  taught hundreds to play. As a humanitarian gesture of goodwill, he would take his students to nursing homes.  There, they would sharpen their music skills while learning to manage their stage fright.  And a bi-product of this was great entertainment provided to the nursing home residents. This proved to be a win-win situation for the neophyte musicians as well as the octogenarians.

I also want to take you to interesting places.  Places  like Vietnam, Europe, and some of the military bases I was assigned, e.g. Hessisch Oldendorf AB, Germany; Glasgow AFB, MT; Little Rock AFB, AR, and Thule AB, Greenland.  

You will also meet my granddaughter, Arianna Sage Mellen, visit my hometown, and see my Goldwing.   If you like pictures, there are plenty to view. 

 I will even throw in a free offer of a vacation for you in Hot Springs Village, AR.
