| I was stationed at Hessisch Oldendorf from June 1977 until
June 1980. My wife's name was Marilyn (now divorced). She worked in the
Hessisch Oldendorf School as the Secretary and RN. My daughter,
Kristy, was runner-up for Miss Hessisch Oldendorf for 1979. She was
only 13 years old. |

I worked for the Group Commander, Colonel Buikema. I
was the Group Safety Officer responsible for the base proper, Bad Munder,
Swellentrup, and Bremerhaven. |
